David Howe - Lighting Design
David is an internationally working lighting designer creating theatre, opera, ballet and immersive productions across the UK, Europe, North America and beyond. He enjoys collaborating with directors, designers and producers to shape how stories are seen and felt through light, balancing visual storytelling with the practical realities of performance and production.
Examples of work on this site, through production photography and selected credits, capture many elements of David’s practice and range of productions, but each project is different. David believes the best work grows from conversation, shared ideas and trust between collaborators.
David is an active member of the Association of Lighting & Production Design (ALPD), where he serves as Professional Members’ Representative on the Executive Committee, and is also a member of American Union - United Scenic Artists (USA829).
